Not much is known about this period, especially its very beginning, but it is evident that Christianity was deeply rooted in the early Middle Ages, which is proved by a number of remains of sacral architecture such as St. Eliseus, St. Lawrence, St.Flor – Fioran, St. Pelegrin and Vela Boška near Valbandon.
